Who we are and what drives us
El Mago Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Major League Baseball player Javier "El Mago" Báez, dedicated to driving positive social impact in Puerto Rico through sports, education, health, housing, and community action. The foundation works to improve the quality of life of children, youth, and families in vulnerable communities, using sports —especially baseball— as a powerful tool for social transformation.
